Victor 10-Inch Double-Sided Electrical Records
1925-1958

This page covers the 21000 series (actually a continuation of the 16000s) from 21000 to 21999 with issue dates ranging from 1927 to 1929. Earlier and later issues can be found on other pages. Like the 20000s, a few odd throwbacks do appear in this number block as well. Great and varied talent continued to record for the company. Some artists left the label, most notably Paul Whiteman who went to Columbia for a few years before returning to Victor. The Radio Corporation of America (RCA) acquired the company in January of 1929 and a slow transition over the years would bring the "RCA Victor" name to prominence on the label. Problems with pressing quality remained. Special numbering blocks were established for Race records (V-38000s) and Country records (V-40000s) in 1928.
