Lincoln Records
1923-1930

Lincoln was a subsidiary of Cameo Records that debuted in 1923, though a few sides were recorded as early as 1922. Its catalog duplicated Cameo's with pseudonyms being used for the performers. It first retailed for 50¢ like its parent but dropped to 35¢/3-for-$1 in 1925. The American Record Corporation (ARC) bought Cameo in 1929 and Lincoln was discontinued the following year.
